Enjoy an Easter getaway at Denmark’s historic rennaicastle.
If you're looking for things to do during your Easter holiday, spend it here at one of Denmark’s most historic places. Explore Kronborg’s fascinating history with guided tours and special exhibitions. Join us for a Renaissance sopiree at our special exhibition PARTY and experience the photo exhibition MOTHERS//DAUGHTERS before it closes.

The whole family can go on an Easter egg hunt, find the sheep that are loose in the castle in the castle, and visit the creative room.

Special exhibition

Last chance - it closes April 6th

The photo exhibition MOTHERS//DAUGHTERS in Kronborg's beautiful, historic halls invites reflection on the relationship between mothers and daughters through stories from the past and the strong voices of the present. Photographer Vibe Juul Sannig is behind the images, where 15 famous women and their daughters share experiences, and where historical figures such as Kirsten Munk and Caroline Mathilde are given new life in the encounter with the present.

Easter holiday for the family

Go on an egghunt to find the eggs around the castle and unlock a little treat in the shop. We also need your help to find the sheep, that are loose in the castle - can you find them all? And stop by the creative room to cut out a spring-colored letter, draw or build with LEGO.

Visit our special exhibition PARTY, where you can explore the lavish parties of the Renaissance. Through nine rooms, you can gain insight into how a party was not just a party. It was a demonstration of power, a play, a statement: I am the greatest, richest and most powerful king in Europe. Also get a taste of the wild atmosphere of the parties when you dress up or dance with the shadows, while you can read about the castle's festive history as Europe's dance club.
